Registration Problem...

Hi,

This looks like a wonderful site and I'd really like to join, but when I go to register, I get an error message saying my email account is blocked. I've never been here before, neither has anyone in my household, so I'm wondering if this is a system glitch. I've tried a few different addresses too. Is there anything else I should try?

There are certain email providers such as Yahoo.com that are automatically blocked because they have been abused in the past by hackers. Typically these are providers that provide an email address independent of your Internet Provider serve. If that is not the case, send an email to the Provost alerting him of the problem.

Tom's right. We block Yahoo and Hotmail specifically for this reason.

We should probably block AOL but that gets too close to throwing the baby out with the bathwater.

If you have no other email address, please drop me a note. I try to visit my Yahoo mail once a day, but sometimes I miss.
