The Seventh Annual Civil War Preservation Ball will be held in the rotunda of the Pennsylvania Capitol Building, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, to support the Gettysburg Monuments Project Endowment Trust Fund.

7:00PM to 10:00PM, Saturday, March 20.

Music will be by the Philadelphia Brigade Band.

Dance instruction will be conducted by the Civil War Dance Foundation.

The cost is $35 per person or $60 per couple.

Special displays this year:

The Pennsylvania Archives will have a display on its current project to restore and conserve the Civil War Regimental Muster Rolls. You will have an opportunity to see these important research documents up close and hear about the conservation project.

There will also be a small display on the return of the Pennsylvania Colors Ceremony on July 4, 1866, in Philadelphia, including perhaps the only known surviving example of an “Orphan’s Flag” given to soldiers’ orphans who marched in the parade.
