(1) Jean cloth Confederate forage cap, size 7-1/2, very good condition. Not a top-tier repro, but better than average for sutler row. $29 shipped.

(3) Prewar scalloped flap haversack with pewter coin buttons. I made this from a pattern I found on an 1812 reenactors' website. Made of cotton drill; mostly machine sewn with hand buttonholes. Used once or twice. $18.00 shipped

(4) Lot of two shirts: briefly, the first made this awhile back approximating the Federal issue variety; size is 46-48. THE GOOD- I had made a handful of shirts by this time and was getting to get fairly good with the machine, so it looks half decent. An underrepresented pattern of shirt that usually costs an arm and a leg...not this time, owing to: THE BAD- It is almost entirely machine sewn except for the buttonholes and collar. I wanted to make it of gray domet, but a light jean was the closest I could conveniently get at the time. The cuffs are not inward-faced as I had not yet figured that trick out, so to speak. THE UGLY- check out the bottom seams. I must have been slacking; they look bad and I didn't fully roll-hem it; only turned it over once. The second blue shirt started out well; I was going to fully hand top stitch it when I discovered that I somehow made the body entirely too short..."midriff length"...so I plumb gave up and crudely serged an "extension" on the bottom. I'll just throw it in for free. $25.00 shipped

...not the most exciting thing in the world, but I have an xtra pair of heel plates that someone can snap up for $5 shipped if they want.

I have an extra Springfield rifled musket ramrod that I dug up in the archives that is in great condition with a little rust inside the tulip. It is threaded for a wiper and has the swell in the ramrod to fit snug in the pipes. I think someone was selling an A/S 1861 on here recently that was missing a rod; I wish I would've thought of this then! $17.00 shipping included
