I'll take $550 for the above mentioned Enfield. All stipulations from my previous post still apply.

I can send pictures upon request and I will also have it in The Depot (located in Old Gettysburg Village) at Remembrance Day if it doesn't sell by then.

I also have a '42 Springfield for sale. It's serial #6, meaning the 6th one ever made. Probably a collector's piece by now! It's never been fired and in good shape.

Thanks!

Here are pics of the '42. I'm asking $695 which includes soft case, cleaning patches, cone pick, modern cone wrench and an original worm. Shipping is separate and will be determined by location.

I will try to get pics of the EOA Enfield up soon.

Email if interested.

Thanks!

That is so cool. I had one of these early 42s but serial number was something in the six hundreds. What is the price on the 42?

Craig,

It is a very neat piece. The funny thing is this musket was made before they had the .69 cal ArmiSport stamp so the top of the barrel is stamped .58 cal and then overstamped. This is a piece of reenacting history. See post #4 for price and included accessories.

If I had not just purchased a 61 from Craig I would have jumped on that Enfield. Not sure how I missed this post. Suprised it has not sold yet.

Someone needs to jump on that '42! There is a big difference between the early '42's and those made just 5 years later... and even more changes can be seen on more recent examples. Those early examples are choice, IMO!

Yo Bill-

Will you take 5 and a quarter if I can pick it up from you this weekend? If so, do NOOOOOT email me, PM me or facebook me about it 'cause my wife will de-nut me faster than...I dunno, choose whatever idiom you want...faster than speed-demon cowpoke in Texas...or whatever. Just say'n. I gotta let'er down...easy. Will probably have to surprise her with a Coach purse or somethin'.

I am so dead. But it's worth it. I sent you an email with alternative ways of reaching me!! I'd like to keep my "junk" intact.

Tom,

It's yours! I will bring it this weekend (if I can get out of my driveway with the impending storm of the century coming) and cease all further communication. I don't want to be responsible for another man's demise!!!!

You da man. Boy, I never thought I'd get to pick up an Enfield for $5.25! Um, you knew that's what I meant by "five and a quarter"...right?

J/K ;) I don't need to tick off TWO people in one day.
