Sharpshooters (1750-1900): The Men, Their Guns, Their Story has been released. Foreword by Roy Chandler (Death From Afar, Vol 1-5), Introduction by Bill Edwards (Civil War Guns) and Afterword by Maj. Jim Land (ret).

Smyth Sewn acid free paper, cloth covered hardbound 7 x 10 with dustjacket. 856 pages (don't worry, there's about 60 you don't read as it's the bibliography and the index). Over 150 maps, drawings and photographs.

Filled with hundreds of first hand accounts, most of the book discusses sharpshooting during the Civil War. Those who belong to the NSSA or The Company of Military Historians have seen excerpts that have been published.
