I am in need of some reasonable priced 56/50 Spencer blanks. Is anyone reenacting with a 56/50?

Dixie Gun Works sells plastic blank cases that require a shotgun primer to be inserted. Dont know how well they work but it probably wont be very loud.

Ten X Ammo has something similar but instead of a primer, it uses a .38 special blank. Thats got to be more realistic than the Dixie rounds, especially if you use a black powder blank. I've never tried either though so I cant say for sure

Hope that helps

If you haven’t purchased your 56-50 Spencer yet give this article a read. http://www.9thnycavalry.webeditor.com/spencer_article.html
It talks about using a 44-40 Spencer for reenacting using cut down 410 hulls for blanks.

I have had the Spencer about 5yr. I just got interested in trying it at a reenactment. We use a Williams gun, but I wanted more flexibility.
