Anyone read Chuck Logans "South of Shiloh"? Its a decent thriller with a reenacting backdrop. Mr Logan did some actual research on the hobby or has been in the ranks before.

I tried to read it awhile back and gave up after a few pages, thinking perhaps that it would be a typical CW reenactor hack-job. I'm going to have to pick it up again and give it a chance based on your thoughts and I'll share my observations after the second go-round.

There's about 3-4 reenactor based novels out there now. I read one but the name didn't stick with me.

Thanks for the heads up about "South of Shiloh."
