Our unit was issued 50 jackets, 50 overcoats, 100 shirts, and 50 caps, from the Dublin Va Depot, on October 8th 1863. What style the jackets were, Columbus Depot or Richmond Depot, I don't know. They also requested 50 pairs of pants, 50 pairs of drawers, 100 pairs of socks, and 50 pairs of shoes, but these were not issued. I attached a copy of the requisition form. McClung's Battery was stationed at Saltville Va at the time, part of the garrison guarding the salt works.
