September Event Question??

Gents, I am looking for any info on some events in Virginia in the month of September. Are there any good events this month????

there is a streamer event in Stanardsville, VA. It's not horrible I believe it's around the 20th of the month.

They haven't updated their website for the 2009 event - but they did snail-mail the 2009 registration packet to all the 2008 reenactors recently. (My unit attended last year and will do so again this year.)

It's a smallish event. It usually has about 10 cannon, a few dozen cavalry and a few hundred infantry.

For what it's worth - this was my first event ever attended as a spectator (I live about 3 miles fom the field). It's the event that sparked my family's interest enough to join the hobby. Now all 5 of us are reenactors. I'm not saying the event was responsible, but if it had been a horrible experience, then I probably wouldn't be a reenactor today. ;)
