In light of Spotsylvania being canceled the Chesapeake Volunteer Guard is going to New Market to plug the gap in the schedule.

Impression is generic 64 federal.

Headgear
Civilian hats and plain Hardees, forage caps acceptable if nothing else.

Coat
1. Fatigue blouse, unlined
2. Fatigue Blouse, lined from US arsenal or contract pattern

Trousers
Sky Blue US issue foot trousers (preferred).

Footwear
US Issue Brogans, or boots

Shirt
Enlisted:
1. US issue shirt
2. Civilian pattern shirt

Accouterments
US issue Pattern Accouterments.
Bayonets a must!
Us issue blanket

No packs, we will be wearing blanket rolls.

Just a bump, for all those looking to take part, last year we were encamped at the Bushong Farm. I am awaiting details on the camp but I expect much the same. So hopefully we will be well fed and have some fun firper exchanges with civilians once again. Drew, if you're out there...are taking part again?
