I have two Handsewn Confederate haversacks made from the Moses Alexander pattern. They are from Beige and natural ticking material, with a Goodyear maltese cross button dated 1851. Good sturdy cotton woven material, handsewn with 100% cotton natural thread.

I just got mine in the mail yesterday and i must say wow. This is a very good high quality haversack, the stitching is clean and straight, the dimensions are correct and all around a great haversack. I had a Trans Mississippi depot Moses Alexander haversack which went through a lot and i must say this haversack stands up to the quality of my old one.
