Thanks bud. I said I'd buy it and asked for your mailing address. You said sure and sent me pix....then nothing. What happened?

Same here, I also sent him an email telling him I would take it and ask for a shipping address then didn't hear anything back.

NIB, unfired for $350? The same musket which is a popular model sells for $600 at events? Seller shows 2 previous posts? Hope you did not expect this to be genuine, and further that you did not send money.

Funny you say that because I have bought 2 very nice muskets here. One from a newby and one from another gentleman. Both for great prices.

Me too and usually for really fair prices...but sometimes a deal looks a little too good to be true. Like a Euroarms P-53 NIB for $350.

Just before Christmas I did purchase a new, never fired Euroarms P-53 with bayonet for $390 including S & H. Deals can be had here!

Yes you may.
I was simply answering the mans question, "Does anyone have a good deal out there for a three and Musket?? New or used."
Thank you,

Someone sent him a message offering to pay more for it. That has happened to me on this forum. I struck a deal and right before I sent the money via paypal the seller notified me I wasn't the first person on the list. It took him 3 days to figure that out??
I also have been approached, via PM, while selling something. A fellow notified he would pay more for a jacket I was selling if I sold it to him. I declined and told him if the deal fell thru he would get it for the asking price.
I've lived long enough to know when you stick it to someone, you usually get stuck back down the line.

Mr. Wood,

The gentlemen said, and I quote again, "Does anyone have a good deal out there for a three band Musket?? New or used."

My posting http://www.customizedcwguns.com had absoutly nothing to do with any of "your" previous posting.
It was in reply to his question which is why I directed my posting to civilwarguns.
Thank you,
Blair Taylor

After posting this thread, I received e-mails from 6 members requesting pictures. I sent pics to all and was planning to sell to the first person to replied saying they wanted.
Agrnbrt did not send me a pm on this site, but did send an e-mail stating he was interested in buying this. The problem with this is that 5 other people e-mailed me before him so even though he was the first post here, he was already 6th in line to buy.
Civilwarguns sent me an e-mail saying he would take it before I sent pics and was the first person interested. After sending him pics, I heard nothing back so I assumed that he changed his mind.
I offered it to the second person who replied offering to buy. He did not post here but contacted me through e-mail. I called and set up payment. I have been awaiting payment which has, to date, not arrived.
On 1-28-09 I posted a reply on this thread "SPF"....Which means 'SOLD PENDING FUNDS'...I have not checked back here because I assumed it was a done deal. I called the buyer today saying that the funds have not been received as of yet and he told me that there was an issue with the mailing address. Supposedly the post office returned it saying this is not a valid address... go figure... my bills find their way here but his check did not.
I have an issue with all of these post from members who I have not talked to, who are questioning my integrity. If you guys are all done playing, and someone is SERIOUS about purchasing this gun, it is back up for sale. I will reply to the first person who POSTS here and then e-mails me.
