I have for sale a few things that I will not be needing/using anymore, so thought to post them here.
1. A correctly made cotton day dress, to be worn over a hoop or cage. It is made of a blueish-green/pink cotton print. The bodice has a jewel neckline, coat sleeves and a tucked bodice. The lining of the bodice is fitted with darts. The bodice has self piping at neckline, armscyes, and waistline. The bodice is finished with a narrow waistband and the skirt attaches to it with whip stitched pleats. The skirt is adjusted for length from the top, rather than at the hem. The hem is finished with a wide cotton hem facing. The dress is trimmed with a row of white buttons down the front, and is finished at the neck and wrists with collar/cuffs made of white cotton and trimmed with a delicate white cotton lace. Appx. a modern size 12/14. This dress was worn twice, and no longer fits me so I am cleaning it out to make room for new garments. Asking $75.
2. A wool civilian style vest, made out of a gray/white striped lightweight wool. It has three pockets on the front, one at the breast and two waist pockets. It is padded with wool padding and lined with white cotton and the back is made out of a dark green polished cotton. For a chest size 46 appx. Made this for my husband but he never wore it. Asking $35.
3. A winter quilted hood, made of a dark orange wool. Padded with wool and lined with green/blue changeable silk. The hood has a turned back brim made of the same silk. The ties are orange/red plaid ribbon. Worn a few times, but in like-new condition. Asking $25.
May have a few more items later - if interested please contact me at dm_sj@mtco.com for pictures/more information. Thank you very much!
