Having some time today, I'm going through some old files. I found the attached (had forgotten about that one). It gives a good account of being captured near Petersburg, his subsequent escape, getting back to Harrisburg, returning to his unit, and then participating in the final campaign to Appomattox. I thought it provided some interesting insights to occurrences near the end of the war.
