I purchased a used PH at a gun show a few weeks ago. The bottom of the barrel has numbers for caliber (577) and bullet weight (536), but no serial number that I can see. Also on the bottom of the barrel, below the breech, is the number '4'. The bottom of the barrel also has a date code stamped inside circle divided into 3 sections: A-B-5. On the top of the barrel, in the rear just before the tang, on the left side of the breech just above the stock is the number '1841'. Otherwise, nothing that looks serial number-ish.
Where on the barrel is the serial number stamped?
