In the summer of '07, we are planning to have the first ever reenactments of the two skirmishes that took place in and around Barboursville, WV. I am hoping that it will be more of a campaigner event, but we will have to see. If you have any question, just ask.

Hello Sir...
I live in Hurricane WVa (not to far away) and pleased to hear of the possible reenactment in Barboursville, WVa. I would be intrested to hear about the planned event and will probably attend. I am a CSA Artillerist in the Kanawaha Artillery Battery D. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Well, I have talked with the lady in charge of the planning of the event. She has got a man from Wytheville in as overall commander. Some of us will be at the Barboursville Fall Fest on a float in the parade, and with a booth.

Will there be any scenarios for the women? We are based out of Charleston WV and would love to go to this one. It's practically in our backyard.

Im really not sure if there will be or not. Im in the infantry, so I'll probably be helping with that aspect, you know, the battle set-ups. If I get any further information, on this subject, I'll post more.
