For sale on eBay is a replica 1841 Mountain Howitzer mounted on a 1st Model Prairie Carriage. Bronze Mordecai Barrel is a correct 4.625” bore that has a period correct chamber. The Bronze Barrel is made from Naval Gun Bronze in 2008 by Bob Gilmore of Gilmore Ordnance. The prairie carriage is made from Mesquite Wood and was built by Spriks Cannon Works in Mesa, AZ. The MH is in excellent condition and garaged stored. Worm/Sponge and Rammer/Sponge implements included.
Also a Mountain Howitzer Prairie Limber w/two Ammo Boxes. The Ammo Boxes have period hardware and locks. The MH Limber and Ammo Boxes are in excellent condition. The limber is made from a combination of Mesquite and Oak woods and manufactured in 2007 by Spriks Cannon Works. The MH is garage kept and is excellent condition.
