I am looking for information about our galvanizing unit, the 13th Kentucky Infantry, Company D, USA. I have been searching through http://www.itd.nps.gov/cwss/index.html and have put together the unit rooster. However it does not list a captain. After a google search the best I could find was the unit was recruited by Captain B. P. Estes. Then mustered into the United States Service Dec. 30, 1861, by Captain Kellog. One source says W. W. Woodruff was Captain, but another says he was Captain of the 18th KY. I would like to have the name of the man who was the Captain after Kellog and who held that rank the longest. Does anyone know who my missing Captain is or can point me in the right direction? Thank you very much.

Going to New York, for a couple of weeks. Keep a eye on things here in Ky. I figured you'd head up to Fort Duffeild this weekend? Micah and the crew are up there in the rain(Friday) only. Keep up the good work.
