Federal officer 'Hardee' hat cords

What would be the correct cords for infantry branch company grade officer ?

If you have to have hat cords...the black and gold are what you want. The come in both a woven design and a twist design....both are authentic and appropriate. Have seen them both on originals...though have seen more of the twist design.

Thanks - I am part of a group recreateing an o'sullivan photo of a group of Union officers and the majority have the cords on their hat. But I cannot tell what type. Likely just a one time use.
