Galena IL

I am looking for someone in the Galena IL area. I have reproduced several unusual civil war cannons and I am interested in the 3.75" Blakely rifle that is in Grant Park in Galena IL. I figured it up and It is a 1600 mile round trip for me to go and make a few measurements of the tube. That is a tad far.
I have a drawing showing the areas of the tube that I need measured. I would also like 20/30 pictures. Pictures of the tube as well as marking are very useful in reproducing a barrel. The only tools needed are a tape measure and a camera.
If you are in the area and would do me this favor I would be very appreciative, and also pay $50.

O'man! I wish I would have been able to read this post prior to last Saturday. I was up that way, only 20 miles from Galena in fact. I live in Central Illinois, so if I get a chance to be up that way again soon, I'll more than happily take the photos and measurements for you.
